I'm Yessica.
This is my why.

I didn't come to personal training through a single passion. I came through years of genuine curiosity about the physical body — psychology, and what movement, nutrition, recovery, and all kinds of lifestyle factors actually do to a person's health and sense of self.

My background is in communication science (MSc, University of Amsterdam), but what really shaped how I work was something more personal. In my corporate years, I was very good at optimising — productivity, output, intellectual performance. What I wasn't good at was the other half: recovery, rest, nourishing my body. I kept pushing. And then, during a yoga teacher training, my body simply gave up. I couldn't ignore it anymore. Yoga had been showing me, quietly, how disconnected I'd become — how chronically tense I was, how time managed me rather than the other way around. That stopped the moment I finally listened.

The shift wasn't overnight. I started working four days a week and teaching yoga on the side. People responded. Businesses started asking me in. More training followed — Pilates, strength, pre/postnatal, perimenopause, physiotherapy. Every client taught me something. The research never stopped. It still doesn't.

I grew up in a family where sport wasn't sport — it was just how we lived and connected. I've been moving seriously for 15+ years: yoga, Pilates, long-distance running, team sports, strength training, mobility work. I'm based between Madrid and Amsterdam, and I work with clients across Europe and beyond who want something built for their real life — not an idealised version of it.
